The Amish quilt pattern Square in Square was used on this bathroom counter top.  The client chose the colors to be used. Payne Creations has a line of fifty 6-inch tile quilt patterns that can be used as trivets or in installations such as this.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A hand-painted mural, Stylized Crane, was used in this shower and the tile was designed to complement it. The border was created with cut tile and a 3-d rope tile.
